Bhutan Travel Information

Bhutan is a landlocked country, bordered by China in the north and India in the South, East, and West. The capital city of Bhutan is Thimpu, which is also its largest city. This country is surrounded by stunning landscape ranges from sub-tropical plains in the South to the Sub-alpine Himalayan heights in the North. Bhutan’s state religion is Vajrayana Buddhism, where magical customs and intense religious beliefs still exist. The national language of Bhutan is Dzongkha.

Being a landlocked country, Bhutan consists mostly of steep and high mountains crisscrossed by a network of swift rivers, contributing in an outstanding range of biodiversity. The rare golden languor, Bengal tiger, one-horned rhinoceros, barking deer, Tibetan wolf,Takin (it’s national animal), antelope, Himalayan Musk deer are some of the wildlife inhabiting this place.

The season from April to November is the best for travelling Bhutan. A travel visa or some legality is required to travel to this country.
