Itinerary for Beijing to Lhasa Train Journey:
Day 01 : Arrive in Beijing, transfer to your hotel. Tour briefing. Lunch and dinner on your own.
Day 02 : Visit Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City. Lunch with local family of the Hu Tong area.
Day 03 : Full day tour of one of the seven wonders of the world- The Great Wall at Badalin section.
Day 04 : Board train for the journey from Beijing – Lhasa.
Day 05 : Train journey Beijing – Lhasa continue.
Day 06 : Arrive in Lhasa (3,700m/12,136ft)/transfer to hotel, time to acclimatize.
Day 07 : Guided tour to Potala Palace, Norbulinga, Jokhang Temple and Barkor Street with Tibetan pilgrims.
Day 08 : Guided tour to visit greatest monasteries in Lhasa-Drepungs and Sera.
Day 09 : Drive to Gyantse, visit PelkorChode and Kumbum Stupa.
Day 10 : Drive to Shigatse, visit His Holiness the Panchen Lama’s sacred throne- Tashilhunpo Monastery.
