Originating at the Tibetan border, at an altitude of 6268 m (20,564 ft), The Kali Gandaki River offers an extremely exciting rafting trip that consists passing through unexplored, remote villages, challenging rapids, deep gorges, pristine jungles, sandy beaches, and encountering several species of birds and wildlife.
A Kali Gandaki river trip first requires you to either fly or drive to Baglung from Kathmandu. A typical trip begins at Modibeni, which is at the confluence of the Kali Gandaki and the Modikhola. Once the rafting trip ends, you have an option either to drive/fly back to Kathmandu or to visit the Royal Chitwan National Park, or even to go for a short trekking trip around the popular areas of the Annapurna region.

Day 01: Pokhara to rafting put-in point Nayapul 70 km – Camp at ModiKhola.
Day 02: Camp site ModiKhola to the second day camp site (below the village of PurtiGhat).
