Kathmandu Lhasa Overland Tour

Lhasa literally means ‘Place of the Gods’. It is the administrative capital of Tibet and is also the highest city in the world. Lhasa has a great significance for the Tibetans because it is home of famous Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Norbulinkga palace. A journey to Tibet is accessible through an hour long flight to Lhasa from Kathmandu.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu
Day 02: Tibet Visa preparation & Kathmandu Sightseeing
Day 03: Drive to Nyalam (3750m, 150km) via Kodari border
Day 04: Rest day in Nyalam for Acclimatization
Day 05: Drive to Tingri (4390m)
Day 06: Drive to Shigatse (3900m)
Day 07: Drive to Gyantse (3950m)
Day 08: Drive to Lhasa (3660m)
Day 09: Lhasa sightseeing
Day 10: Lhasa sightseeing
Day 11: Drive Lhasa to Gongar Airport & Fly to Kathmandu
Day 12: Free day in Kathmandu
Day 13: Final departure to your home country.
